Worship is at the center of our congregational life. In worship we praise God and are met by God. Our worship tends to be liturgical, which means it follows a set order that dates to the ancient church. The liturgy provides a familiar rhythm to our worship, allowing us to enter more fully into God's presence.
Worship at Bethlehem is lively! We worship with a variety of musical styles and many people offer their gifts of music, song, reading, or drama in the service. Every now and then there is a surprise that helps make God's word of life-giving love come alive in a new way. Children are welcome in worship. Many would say that the children's sermon is the highlight of the service! We strive to make our worship service and our space as "kid friendly" as possible.
Holy Communion is celebrated at each service every Sunday. All the baptized are invited to the feast.
