Our care for others extends to our neighbors in the Beverly Morgan Park community and the world beyond. We support the work of other organizations with our time, talents and resources, including:
A New Direction -- We support the work of our local domestic violence agency through in-kind gifts.
Bread for the World – We write letters, urging our nation’s decision makers to work to end hunger.
Share the Harvest - Throughout the summer growing season Bethlehem partners with Share the Harvest to grow and share fresh produce with our neighbors who are hungry.
Southwest Chicago PADS -- On the third Thursday of the month, October - April, we serve a meal at Southwest Chicago PADS and the third Sunday of each month is PADS Sunday where we collect personal care/toiletry items and facility items for the shelter.
Maple-Morgan Park Food Pantry – We share nonperishable food on the second Sunday of every month and collect funds during Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Heifer International – We celebrate new life at Easter with gifts of chicks and rabbits.
Monthly Appeals - Each month our finance committee designates a different ministry outside of our congregation for a special appeal for funds.
We welcome community groups such as the Morgan Park Women's Club, Beverly/Morgan Park Garden Club, Chicago Public Schools, and Beverly Improvement Association Santa's Workshop to utilize our facility.
